4.     You will be forwarded to the SWITCH edu-​ID login window.

5.     Click Create Account.

6.     The form for creating a SWITCH edu-​ID account will now be displayed. Enter your name and private email address (your ETH address will be transferred automatically) and set a password.

7.     Place a tick mark to accept the Terms of Use and click Create Account.

8.     Enter the verification code you received to your email address.

9.     A confirmation of the activation of your SWITCH edu-​ID account is displayed.

10.     Click on Continue. 

11.     Log in with the SWITCH edu-​ID you just created to complete the link to ETH.

12.     Go to the SLSP registration platform: https://registration.slsp.ch/?iz=eth

13.     Click Start Registration.

14.     Log in with the SWITCH edu-​ID you just created.

15.    The information that is being transmitted to SLSP is displayed when clicking the arrow symbol. Click Accept.

16.     Now the data for registration with swisscovery is displayed. Then accept the Terms of Use and click Register.

17.     A confirmation of registration with swisscovery is displayed after that.

18.     Your SWITCH edu-​ID is now ready for use in swisscovery.

1.     Before starting the registration process, please open a new browser session by closing all browser windows and opening the browser again.

2.     Go to the Identity Web Center and log in with your ETH login: password.ethz.ch.

3.     You will find the column Edu-​ID on the right side. Click inside the Click to Assign Your Edu-​ID box. (If a message indicating the linking has already been done is displayed here, proceed directly to step 6.)

4.     Log in with your SWITCH edu-​ID.

5.     You will then automatically be sent back to the Identity Web Center. If you now see a message indicating the linking has been done, your edu-​ID is now connected.

6.     Go to the swisscovery registration platform.

7.     Click Start Registration.

8.     Log in with your SWITCH edu-​ID.

9.     The information that is being transmitted to SLSP is displayed when clicking the arrow symbol. Click Accept.

10.     To register with SLSP, personal data that may not yet be included in your SWITCH edu-​ID account (e.g. date of birth, telephone number, postal address) is required. You are now prompted to add the missing data. You can use the links below the error messages to enter the missing data.

11.     Now the data for registration with swisscovery is displayed. Then accept the Terms of Use and click Register.

12.     A confirmation of your registration with swisscovery is displayed after that.

13.     Your SWITCH edu-​ID is now ready for use in swisscovery.

5.     The form for creating a SWITCH edu-​ID account will now be displayed

6.     Place a tick mark to accept the Terms of Use and click Create Account.

7.    Enter the verification code you received to your email address.

8.     A confirmation of the activation of your SWITCH edu-​ID account is displayed. If you have registered with a mobile number, follow the instructions in the text message you received to verify your number. Afterwards you can continue with the registration by clicking on the corresponding button.

9.   Log in with the SWITCH edu-​ID you just created.

10.   The information that is being transmitted to swisscovery is displayed. Choose whether you want to be asked if you want to transfer the information each time you log in or only if the information changes. Click Accept.

11.     Now the data for registration with swisscovery is displayed. If you want to record the barcode of an existing library card, click Library Card Numbers. You can type in the corresponding number and save it on the next page. Then accept the Terms of Use and click Register.

12. A confirmation of registration with swisscovery is displayed after that.

13. Your library account is now ready for use in swisscovery.

3.     Click Start Registration.

4.     Log in with your SWITCH edu-​ID.

6.     After you have filled in the missing data, you will be asked again to confirm the transfer of information to swisscovery (see step 5). Click Accept.

7.     Now you will be shown an overview of that data that will be used for registration at swisscovery. If you want to record the barcode of an existing library card, click Library Card Numbers. You can type in the corresponding number and save it on the next page. Then accept the Terms of Use by placing a tick mark in the box and click Register.

8.     A confirmation of registration with swisscovery is displayed after that.

9.   Your library account is now ready for use in swisscovery.
