ETH IT Services provide tailored IT services to the needs of research, teaching and administration. From the management of IT jobs (e.g. purchasing and installing hardware/ software, maintenance of operating systems and applications, configuration or printers and other devices) using dedicated user accounts and networks. Furthermore, the service provides different applications and data storage needs to support and maintain specialised laboratory equipment and research tools. This allows our clients to focus on research and teaching while we support their IT services.
Our internal IT support is permanently on-site, this guaranteeing a high level of support and a direct exchange of information. Furthermore, we are close to our clients to allow for short response time if problems arise. As part of ETH IT Services we have access to the entire ETH IT organisational network with many experts who can help with every IT need. This guarantees a professional, competent, reliable and efficient management of department IT infrastructure.
Customer Groups / Cost / Order
This service is primarily aimed at ETH departments. However, in special cases it is available to institutes or professors. In the customer service level agreement (SLA) the scope, depth and cost of the desired IT service can be defined and drawn up.
