Service description


Description

Microsoft Lync is currently the unified communications service at ETH Zurich. The service combines a number of different communication tools (chat, mail, voice and video) to optimise accessibility and cooperation.

The above mentioned services may be used within ETH and with external contacts using Lync/Skype or using a browser. Lync client is available on all operating systems (Windows, OS and Linux) and mobile devices (OS, Windows, Android).

This service is free of charge and available to all ETH members and students.
