Connecting to the WLAN (Wi-Fi) at the ETH Campus for Students and Staff

SSID eduroam

eduroam is an international WLAN roaming service for users in research, higher education, and continuing education. ETH users connect to eduroam as follows:

1. SSID: eduroam

   • Staff
     <ETH user name>@staff-net.ethz.ch
     
     

3. Password: ETH netzwork passwort (Video Radius Passwort ändern) - ETH Webcenter

WLAN users access eduroam using the login credentials from their home university. You can find out which countries are involved in eduroam on the eduroam website. Use the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool (CAT) to configure your devices for eduroam.

The certificate confirms the identity of the access point and ensures that you are connecting to the correct network.
