In many teams, it is important to store documents centrally and edit them collaboratively, regardless of who the original owner is. Google Shared Drives offer a structured and team-oriented solution for this. Unlike “My Drive,” files in a shared drive belong to the team, not to an individual.
Every user with the ETH Google subscription can create a shared drive on their own to share files with their team in a centralized way.
Storage Space
In the Google Drive service description, Google does NOT specify the size limit of Google Drive. However, due to the new “Pool Storage” Google can no longer maintain the expectations (unlimited storage) it has created. For this reason, the quotas for shared Google Drives will be adjusted as follows:
