Introduction

Some activities might be saved in your Google account. If you wanna check which activities are saved, see: Control what activity gets saved to your account - Computer - Google Account Help.

Activate Activity Controls

Per default the activity controls is disabled for every account. If you want to activate it, please do the following:

  1. Open Google and log in with you ETH account
  2. Click onto your profile (profile picture on the top right)
  3. Click onto "Manage your Google Account"
  4. On the left hand side, click onto "Data & Privacy"
  5. Scroll down a bit and click onto "Web & App Activity"
  6. Click on "Turn on" to enable the Web & App Activity
  7. In the pop-up window click on "Turn on"
  8. In the next page click "Got it"
  9. "Web & App Activity" has been enabled successfully 

Deactivate Activity Controls

To deactivate the activity controls, please do the following:

  1. Open Google and log in with you ETH account
  2. Click onto your profile (profile picture on the top right)
  3. Click onto "Manage your Google Account"
  4. On the left hand side, click onto "Data & Privacy"
  5. Scroll down a bit and click onto "Web & App Activity"
  6. Click on "Turn off" to disable the Web & App Activity
  7. In the pop-up window click on "Turn off"
  8. In the next page click "Got it"
  9. If you would like to delete your Activity click on "Delete activity". Otherwise, click on "Got it"
  10. Select the Activity for the Google product you would like to delete and then click "Next"
  11. Click on "Delete"
  12. Click on "Got it"
  13. Web & App Activity has been disabled successfully
