In the Research Collection adjustments on published publications can only be made by using the "Suggest edit / Report Duplicate" function. For adjustments for your own publication, please also use this function if your submission is completed.
Step-by-step-guide
- Sign in to the Research Collection with your ETH Username.
- Search the publication you are looking for (i.e. title, publication date).
- Click on the Edit symbol and choose the option "Suggest changes".
- Use the form to report a change request for this item.
- Duplicate: Check the appropriate box to report a duplicate.
Correction: Click “Edit” (pencil icon) in the desired field to change the value. Then confirm or discard the change. Reordering is also possible when multiple identical metadata fields are present.
Addition: Click “+ Add new metadata,” select the desired metadata field, and enter the desired value.
Delete metadata field: Click “Delete” next to the field you want to remove.
According to the terms of use deleting of uploaded full texts/data is not possible anymore after the publication in the Research Collection. However, you are welcome to publish a new version or an erratum/corrigendum in addition to the already existing fulltext/data. Please use the contact form if you have any questions.
- Click the “Submit suggestion” button to send your change requests. Additionally, you can leave an extra comment or suggestion.
- Your suggestions are sent to the ETH Library and will be reviewed within the next two working days.
Publications that have not yet been released by you have the following notice in the Research Collection:
You can complete and publish the publication process by navigating to “My Dashboard” via “Publish.” Under “Drafts and Submissions under Review"” click “Edit” to open the publication.
General Remark: Due to software updates, the design of the user interface can change and the screenshots shown above may not correspond to the actual appearance. But the process and the functionalities remain the same.
