Instructions for submitting your electronic doctoral thesis

All publications in the Research Collection are subject to the Terms of Use.

  • Send us the electronic version of your doctoral thesis in PDF format via SWITCHfilesender according to the following instructions.

Instructions for sending your thesis manuscript via SWITCHfilesender

Please note the following steps when submitting the electronic version of your doctoral thesis via SWITCHfilesender:

  • Log in with your ETH user account (AAI)
  • Upload PDF files under "Hochladen"
  • Accept terms of service via slider at "Ich akzeptiere die Bedingungen dieses Dienstes"

  • Select "Send via email"

  • Fill in the newly generated fields as follows:

  • Further settings can be made according to individual needs
  • With clicking the button "Send" you transmit your files to ETH library


We will check and process your submission as soon as possible. You will receive a confirmation from ETH Library within two working days.
