Prepay Copy Stations
The copy stations at most locations have been dismantled without replacement, with the exception of the libraries where there are walk-in customers (not ETH members).
We are talking to companies that can offer a new and modern copy station solution. As soon as we have a new solution, we will equip the libraries with it and dismantle the remaining old copy stations.
ETH libraries have publicly accessible photocopiers on which copies can be made with a prepay card.
Normally they are B/W devices, in some libraries it is also possible to copy in colour.
With a Prepay card, the customer can make double-sided or single-sided copies anonymously on A4 and A3 paper without major administrative effort.
The amount is automatically debited from the Prepay card.
This service is available to ETH members, students and external users. The condition is the purchase of a prepay card with magnetic stripe.
These are available in the libraries, in the office material shops as well as in decentralised vending machines.
