Windows One Click Presets for HP printers
Frequently used Windows printer settings can be saved as a template.
1. Within Control Panel - Devices and Printers, right-click on Printing preferences of the printer of your choice.
2. Find under Printing Shortcuts all your printer templates.
Server side, by default duplex and black and white has been defined.
Please note: Preferably Don't use the preinstalled shortcuts. They don't correspond to the defined default settings. Use only self-defined printing shortcuts.
3. First define a printing shortcut for the default blackandwhite+duplex.
Press button Save As... and in the dialog type the desired name of the shortcut.
4. The new shortcut blackwhite-duplex is shown and can be selected.
5. To create a shortcut for color printing switch to tab Color. There deactivate option Print in Grayscale.
Switch back to tab Printing Shortcuts, without prior pressing button OK nor Apply.
6. Define shortcut for color printing and duplex, again by pressing button Save As...
7. To create a shortcut for staple, switch to Tab Output. Set option Staple, for example to One Staple Left. One Staple Right would be suitable for Landscape printout.
Switch back to tab Printing Shortcuts, without prior pressing button OK nor Apply.
8. If desired configure other settings, for example deactivate option Print on both sides.
Define shortcut for output with staple, again by pressing button Save As...
Windows One Click Presets for Nashuatec printers
Frequently used Windows printer settings can be saved as a template and exported as well.
1. In the Control Panel - Devices and Printers, right-click on the "Printing preferences" of the printer of your choice.
2. Find under "Frequently Used Settings" all your printer templates.
Server side, by default duplex and black and white has been defined.
3. For frequently used output configurations it is recommended to save a template.
Here in this example, duplex, color with stapling and punching.
4. The current setting can now be saved under "Register Current Settings".
5. Give the template an unique name so you can quickly find the template again.
Here in the example: Duplex, color, staple top left, punch 2 at left
6. After saving, your new template appears in the One Click Preset List
7. It is a good idea to save your own templates (export) for this pleas click on "Manage...".
8. Select your template and click on "Export ..."
9. You can save your template locally on your computer or on a shared folder.
10. The file is now saved with the template name.
11. For importing, proceed in the reverse order.
